Thrilled to be accepted into this print exhibition!
Competition for open calls for art is stiff, as any artist can tell you. This makes it all the more satisfying when you get an acceptance to an exhibition. I threw my hat into the ring for a long-established printmaking exhibition here in the Washington, D.C. region: the 27th annual Peggy Doole National Small Works Exhibition, and I was honored that my monotype collage Walk With Me was selected!
Walk With Me, monotype collage on panel, 10”x10”, $300
The juror for this exhibition was Margaret Winslow, Chief Curator and Curator of Contemporary Art at the Delaware Art Museum. I enjoyed meeting Ms. Winslow at the opening and I felt she selected a fabulous variety of outstanding prints for this exhibition. I’m grateful to Ms. Winslow and the Washington Print Foundation for this opportunity!
