I unveiled 3 new pieces at a unique art/food/wine dinner

The “Surprises and Delights” dinner with Broadway Gallery and BRX American Bistro on March 19th was absolutely fantastic—I’m still smiling about it!

In between chef Christopher Carey’s delicious gourmet courses and their J. Lohr wine pairings, I unveiled three pieces from three totally different series. It was great to have the opportunity to explain both the series and the individual pieces directly to viewers and hear their reactions. Here are the three pieces:

Tuned In, from the Wild Companion series:

Tuned In, Collage on panel, 18×24”, $900, available at Broadway Gallery, Great Falls, VA

Focus! From the Primary Gesture series:

Focus! Collage on panel, 30×30”, $1500, available at Broadway Gallery, Great Falls, VA

Palm Beach Jumble from the Form Stacks series:

Palm Beach Jumble, Collage on Panel, $1500, available at Broadway Gallery, Great Falls, VA

The theme of surprises and delights was present in each of chef Carey’s courses, as well as in some special surprises for a few of lucky attendees: original mini collages that I made just for this occasion!

Broadway Gallery created a beautiful display of my work both at their gallery and at BRX American Bistro. I was overwhelmed at the thoughtful, expert planning and care that they put into planning this event, and I’m so grateful that they invited me to be the featured artist!

It’s such a delight to work with the wonderful people at Broadway Gallery!

Here are a few more photos from the evening:

I’m grateful to the enthusiastic attendees, Broadway Gallery, and BRX American Bistro. It was a night I’ll cherish forever!
