You've been missing me terribly, and you don't even know it—but I know you've been feeling it. As creatives, we never have trouble coming up with ideas. The challenge is figuring out how to execute, polish, and get the manifested ideas out into the world. How many ideas do you have that are bogged down or abandoned due to the hassles of finalizing them—or because you're bogged down by keeping all your other plates spinning?
I'm here to help creative entrepreneurs take control of their content by giving up complete control of their content. Too many talented people are frittering away the hours dealing with the minutia of their newsletters, podcast cheat sheets, and other content when they could be putting that brain power to more creative, productive use.
Once you've created your valuable input to the content—the core content, it's time to hand it over and move on. Let me take it from there and bring it back to you fully formed and perfect (like a "content surrogate").
I have over 15 years of experience. While I have recently pivoted to serve the creative market, that is no random choice—art, crafts, and positive psychology have been part of my life for over 25 years. Read on, or contact me to hear all about it!
I've been an in-house and freelance copy editor and proofreader for art, media, direct mail, translation, legal, and graphic design clients. I've helped write winning government proposals. In my wake I've left a path of grinning clients with heads spinning from my turnaround time and responsiveness.
In my 20's I learned to blow glass and worked for several glass artists (production, shipping, and assisting at craft and trade shows). As a hobbyist and avid/rabid fan and collector, I'm gaga for animal and natural imagery, quilts, plush creatures, illustration, painting, and ceramics. My taste definitely leans toward the bright and whimsical.
I have helped my art industry clients edit blog posts, write newsletters, and create content for an art e-course. I am happy to provide references.
I have a B.S. in Marketing and an M.A. in English: Linguistics.
My 4th grade teacher declared me "Most Likely to be Editor of Reader's Digest." Ms. O'Donnell had me pegged!
